Mars Attacks! Storyboard Martian Ray Beam Destroys Jeeps on Las Vegas Strip COA

This is a production used storyboard from the 1996 film Mars Attacks!, starring Jack Nicholson as President James Dale. These were used by the production team for post production VFX work.


This two-panel storyboard covers the Las Vegas invasion sequence where a Martian saucer ray beam picks off military jeeps one by one as they drive down the Vegas Strip, with notes specifying a high-angle tracking shot and the third jeep in line exploding. It corresponds to the screenplay's Las Vegas street battle scene where Martians march through the city firing on everything that moves.
